Custom Gym Mirrors

Overview
The wall of mirror that makes the room a real gym.
A mirror wall changes how a workout space feels and how well it works. We fabricate and install floor-to-ceiling gym mirrors for private home gyms, dance studios, yoga rooms and commercial fitness floors across New Jersey and the greater New York area.
Every mirror is templated on site, edge-polished, and installed with concealed Z-clips so the surface sits flush to the wall with no visible hardware and no distortion.
Why mirror it
A real mirror wall costs less than people expect.
A proper gym mirror is not the same product as a bathroom mirror. We use 1/4" mirror with a thicker silvering layer, fabricated specifically for fitness use, polished on every visible edge and hung with hidden Z-clips so the surface sits flush to the wall with no visible hardware and no distortion.
The result is a single continuous reflective plane that doubles the visual size of the room, sharpens your form during lifts and stretches, and bounces daylight deep into the space.
Configurations
From a single wall to a fully wrapped studio.
Single feature wall
The most common request. One continuous mirror wall behind the squat rack, the bench or the cardio area, sized to your ceiling height.
Multi-wall studio
Two or three walls of mirror for dance studios, yoga rooms and home gyms with a strong choreography or form-focused use.
Recessed and inset
Mirrors installed flush within a millwork frame or recessed niche for the cleanest, most architectural finish.

The installation
Seamless joints and silent mounting.
We template every wall on site and produce mirrors in the largest sheets your stair and doorway will allow, so the seams between panels are kept to a minimum. Joints are butted tightly enough that they vanish from a normal viewing distance.
Mounting is done with concealed Z-clips and a continuous silicone bed, never with visible plastic rosettes or J-bar. The mirror sits flat against the wall and stays there for decades.

Edges, framing and lighting
A few details that make it feel finished.
We polish every exposed edge to a soft chamfer that catches the light gently and is safe to brush against. Optional metal trims in brushed brass, matte black or polished chrome are available for clients who want a more architectural frame.
For studios and home gyms with linear LED lighting we will coordinate with your electrician to leave a clean reveal between the top of the mirror and the ceiling, so the lighting glows along the joint rather than reflecting harshly off the surface.

Home and commercial
From basement gyms to boutique studios.
For private homes we work around finished floors and existing wall treatments, protecting the room as we work. For commercial studios we coordinate with general contractors to fit the install into a tight construction schedule, often working overnight to keep the floor open during business hours.
Either way, the standard of the mirror, the silvering and the finish is identical. We do not keep a cheaper line for commercial work.
Process
Most home gyms are installed in a single visit.
01
Measure
We confirm dimensions, ceiling height, outlet locations and any obstructions on site.
02
Specify
We agree on panel layout, edge finish and any framing or trims with you in writing.
03
Fabricate
Mirrors are cut, silvered, edge-polished and crated for safe transport.
04
Install
A two-person team installs in a single visit, leaving no visible hardware behind.
Pricing
Most home gym walls land between $900 and $2,500.
The number depends on the square footage, the ceiling height, the edge treatment and any framing or trims you choose. As with every Five Star Glass project, we will beat any written quote from a reputable installer by ten percent.
FAQ
How are mirrors cleaned?
A microfibre cloth and a vinegar-based glass cleaner is all that is needed. Avoid ammonia, which can attack the silvering over time.
Can mirrors go onto a drywall surface?
Yes. Standard 1/2" drywall over wood studs is more than sufficient. Our Z-clip system distributes the load safely.
Do mirrors warp the reflection?
Properly fabricated and installed gym mirrors do not warp. Our flatness tolerance is well within ASTM specifications for premium mirror.
